New and Old

Our house is finally painted. And we LOVE it! It's been a long process that started when we first purchased the home. Both Kevin and I are exhausted from today - but we can't figure out why.....since we didn't actually do any of the painting :) We're adding light fixtures and a few other things tomorrow. Next week we get our garage doors as well. We're really excited for those to come (White doors with windows across the top).

Now we can finally focus on the inside of our home. It's our first home together, so we're in need of some "grown up" furnature of our own :) I can't wait for that. Our only question is what should we really buy? We do have a small child and are planning on more, so we may not want to get into the really expensive, nice furnature - not just yet. We may be able to play with what we have as a base and find a few items to bring them out (couch pillows, etc.) I'm not a fan of plain white walls, so that'll be next - painting the kitchen and living rooms. I think color on the walls will make a big difference as well.

Anyway, as you can see we're both really excited about this. It's been fun focusing on the house lately.
